New two-part masterclass launched to manage litigation risks

04 May 2021

Lawyers Weekly is teaming up with litigation partners from Herbert Smith Freehills to bring you a two-part online and interactive masterclass on managing corporate and regulatory investigations.

In June 2021, partners Jason Betts and Christine Tran from global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills will deliver two 60-minute, live-streamed masterclasses to equip attendees with the practical tools necessary to manage corporate and regulatory investigations in an increasingly litigious environment.

Speaking ahead of the two masterclasses, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy – who will serve as moderator – said it is a huge coup for lawyers in attendance to learn from such eminent senior practitioners with high-profile clients.

“These sessions will be unmissable. Mr Betts and Ms Tran have enviable experience in litigation and class actions, and as Australia heads towards a post-pandemic world, their insights and guidance will be invaluable for emerging leaders in law looking to bolster their skill set,” he said.

The two masterclasses will be centred around hypothetical case studies, including “real world” elements from the business landscape and will come with a workbook for viewers to work on throughout the presentation.

Attendees will be able to engage in polls and ask questions throughout the sessions, with Mr Doraisamy facilitating interaction with the presenters.

Early bird tickets are currently available.
