Industry event of the year sold out for third year running

With more than three weeks to go before the Real Estate Business Awards, REB has announced that the event is sold out for the third consecutive year.

More than 900 of the nation’s top real estate professionals will join industry lenders at the five-star event to be held at ICC Sydney’s grand ballroom on 6 July.

Winning an REB Award is a coveted accolade for the real estate industry, with fierce competition expected across all categories.

Now in its fifth year, and partnered by realestate.com.au, the awards reflect the tenacity and resilience of Australia’s leading real estate operators and networks. They are the only accolades open to every real estate professional and group across the industry.

REB editor Tim Neary said the fact that the event has sold out three years in a row is indicative of the importance the industry places on the event.

“The level of engagement for this year’s event has been exceptional,” Mr Neary said.

“The quality, calibre and diversity of submissions is the best we’ve seen, offering our judging panel a challenge to determine the winners of each category.”

The finalists have been announced for all 27 REB Awards in three categories – individual, group and corporate.

The panel of judges will score each submission across a range of criteria, each applicable to its category description.

The panel members include Brett Spencer, CEO of Stargate; Josh Frith, managing director of The Dubs; Vicki Stylianou, executive general manager of the Institute of Public Accountants; Innes Kirkwood, sales director of banking and financial services at Macquarie Group; and Tim Gavan, director and head of real estate advisory services NSW at KPMG Australia.
