A total of 288 legal young guns battled it out as finalists for the prestigious awards program, with 30 worthy winners crowned at this year’s 30 Under 30 Awards hosted by Momentum Media’s legal brand, Lawyers Weekly.

The 30 Under 30 Awards, produced with the support of principal partner LawUno, celebrated the achievements of the rising stars of Australia’s legal profession at a black-tie gala held at The Star, Sydney.
Since its inception 14 years ago, the 30 Under 30 Awards has celebrated the immense talent across Australia’s legal young guns. Members across the spectrum of the legal profession gathered to celebrate the achievements of their younger colleagues and peers, while networking with profession experts.

The awards celebrated rising stars across 30 submissions-based categories spanning banking and finance, commercial, competition, trade, and regulation, dispute resolution and litigation, legal operations, planning and environment, real estate, and technology.
Speaking following the event, Lawyers Weekly managing editor Jerome Doraisamy said: “It is always such a pleasure hosting the 30 Under 30 Awards.

Winners were selected using quantitative and qualitative judging criteria, which acknowledged growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to Australia’s legal sector.
