Specialist education and training provider Aged Care Steps, which also came away with Education and Training Provider of the Year, took out the ifa Excellence Award - Company category.

Investment advice group Morgans took out Dealer Group of the Year, while Lifespan Financial Planning’s Eugene Ardino won the Dealer Group Executive of the Year category.

“On behalf of ifa, I would like to congratulate all this year’s winners and finalists on the outstanding work they do for clients and the advice community, particularly in the face of unusually challenging circumstances in 2020,” ifa editor Sarah Kendell said.

“Advisers have been at the coal face of the COVID crisis this year holding clients’ hands through what has often been a distressing and confusing period, as well as dealing with their own business transformations and regulatory challenges.

“As such, it is even more important this year that the industry takes the time to celebrate its wins and achievements.”
