Better Business Summit has been recognised as one the country’s top events as part of a prestigious industry awards program.
The Better Business Summit, a key component of The Adviser’s expanding range of industry-leading seminars and events, has been named Best Meeting or Conference in Queensland and Western Australia at the Australian Event Awards 2015.
This year’s strong result was mirrored at the 2014 Australian Event Awards, where the Better Business Summit took out the winner of the best conference in South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia, and best new event in Western Australia.
The Australian Event Awards attracts entries from some of the biggest events in the country, with national finalists including the Australian (Tennis) Open, Santos Tour Down Under 2015 and Vivid Sydney 2015.
The Better Business Summit, partnered by NAB Broker, is a state-based conference and awards program for mortgage professionals. It’s held across five cities in February and March, and this year attracted more than 3,500 attendees from 950 unique companies.
“The Better Business Summit has become the leading event on the mortgage industry calendar,” said Jim Hall, head of mortgages and real estate at Sterling Publishing.
“The conference delivers practical, useful information from experienced presenters, while the awards provide an important opportunity to acknowledge those companies that are performing the best in their area of speciality.”
Next year’s Better Business Summit begins in Brisbane on 18 February, before moving to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
