With an emphasis on young talent and impactful initiatives, the Australian Defence & National Security Workforce Awards recognise top-performing technical, operations and communications specialists under the age of 35, as well as the leading reserve support and training development programs.
Steve Kuper, Momentum Markets senior analyst - defence and security, congratulated all this year’s winners: “I would like to congratulate all the finalists and the winners who have been recognised for their significant contributions to Australia’s national security.”
The awards ceremony provided professionals the unique opportunity to network with industry leaders, peers and colleagues throughout the evening.
Winners were selected using a judging criteria that was both quantitative and qualitative, and acknowledged growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contributions to Australia’s defence and national security sector.
“At a time of increased global tensions, particularly in our own region, the men and women of Australia’s defence and national security workforce are the unsung heroes that ensure everyday Australians and their interests are safe,” Kuper added.
The award’s judging panel included former senior ADF and military leaders, academics, business executives, entrepreneurs and innovators to ensure entrants received peer-reviewed recognition of their capabilities in defence.
