REB REInnovate 2022 to prepare agents for 2030

Momentum Media, its real estate brand REB, and principal partner Propic are thrilled to launch the must-attend REInnovate Melbourne 2022 event for real estate agents to future-proof their businesses over the next decade.

Bernard Salt and Luke Matias will be speaking at this year's REInnovate 2022.

Taking place on Tuesday 25 October in Melbourne, REInnovate is a one-day conference specifically designed to help agents harness the power of innovation and recalibrate their business and mindset so they can create a structure for success, efficiency, and profitability in 2022 and beyond.

After a successful conference in Sydney, REInnovate will proceed to Melbourne for a day jam-packed with in-person sessions to equip agents with technical and innovative strategies to revive the engine of their business and advance client outcomes.

The conference is an opportunity for agents to prepare for 2030 by discovering the changing consumer and economic landscape and learning adaptability.

Agents will hear from a panel of experts about how to increase volume while delivering optimal client experiences, go viral by leveraging the new wave of video marketing to reach new demographics and engage clients, accelerate lead generation by developing strategic partnerships with influencers and lateral businesses, and scale their agency by discovering the top five property tech apps leading agents are using to win business.

The event will provide valuable insights into the customer of the future as futurist and demographer Bernard Salt explores how innovation, technology, and changed consumer behaviours are breaking down barriers for property buyers. Salt will also delve into how the Millennial generation is rethinking its property needs, including upgrades to family homes in the suburbs and regional areas.

He will argue that the COVID-19 pandemic has been an inflection point in the way Australians work, shop, and buy real estate, as the buyer of the future is savvier, more technology-driven, obsessed with lifestyle, and most importantly, younger. Real estate agents will learn what the post-COVID-19 consumer looks like, how their values have changed, and what they expect from agents.

In addition, Matias Group founder Luke Matias will unpack how blockchain is set to revolutionise the real estate sector and transform how agents interact with customers, and how it could reduce property transaction times, decentralise processes, protect investors, and increase accessibility for new homeowners.

Matias will also provide case studies to demonstrate how blockchain and digital assets could enable agents to create a recurring income on property sales through digital means.

Alongside this, agents will learn how to harness the power of big data to set pricing for homes and effectively position their products; leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to control expenses; predict risk and gain higher returns; and combine these tools to deliver a bespoke customer experience without sacrificing time.

The conference will also take a deep dive into the future of automated payments and how this could be a game-changer for agencies, as well as optimal lead generation strategies to help agents achieve a minimum of 100 sales annually.

Meanwhile, with COVID-19 altering business models and moving auctions online and employees to remote working, agents will provide tips for running a remote agency and building a successful hybrid working team to reduce operating costs, increase efficiency and accessibility, and avoid common mistakes when delivering virtual auctions.

To combat burnout in an increasingly busy environment, agents will walk away with techniques to practise mindfulness and other wellness strategies to outperform competition, improve work/life balance, and increase professional performance.

Speakers include coach and Real Estate Gym founder Tom Panos, director, auctioneer and licensed real estate agent Matthew Everingham of Richard Matthews Real Estate, and managing director of McCulloch Agencies, Daniel McCulloch.

Propic chief commercial officer David Choi commented that supporting REB ReInnovate forms a part of its commitment to activate real estate on-demand services for modern real estate leaders who are increasingly servicing a generation of buyers, sellers, renters, and investors that is “always on”.

“As an industry, we’ve tipped past the point of considering innovation to stay ahead. Every other industry in the world is taking advantage of artificial intelligence and Propic is here to do the same for the profession we know and love best,” Mr Choi said.

“We believe when you know more, you can be more — so it’s a privilege to support REB ReInnovate in bringing this extraordinary community together in Melbourne at such a pivotal time to learn, be inspired, share ideas, and accelerate growth as individuals, as agencies, and as a new generation of modern real estate pioneers.”

Speaking ahead of the event, REB editor Grace Ormsby shared that the team is looking forward to bringing the best of the Sydney event to a Melbourne audience.

“After the success of the first iteration, we are so excited to take REInnovate on the road to Melbourne.”

“Business leaders and their teams will walk away from the day equipped with the intel, insight, and know-how to lead their teams through the turbulence ahead.”

“It promises to be a fantastic event. You won’t want to miss this!”
