Qld brokers win big at Better Business Awards 2024

The leading lights of the Queensland broking industry have been announced at the Better Business Awards 2024, run in partnership with NAB.

A total of 20 winners were selected this year out of 145 finalists in Queensland.

Twenty top-performers in the Queensland broking industry were chosen as winners this year, including the recipient of the coveted Broker of the Year award.

The 11th annual Better Business Awards 2024 - run in partnership with NAB - was held on Thursday night (7 March) at Sofitel Brisbane where the top-performing professionals and businesses in the mortgage and finance industry were recognised for their achievements.

The awards championed brokers and brokerages who provided stellar customer service and worked in the best interests of their clients, along with loan administrators, business development managers (BDM), mentors, industry thought leaders, and wellness advocates.

Hundreds of members of the broking industry attended the awards to cheer their colleagues and network with industry leaders.

Australian comedian and satirist Mark Humphries assumed emcee duties.

Individual broking awards

A total of 20 winners were selected this year out of 145 finalists in Queensland, with all eyes on who would receive the prestigious Broker of the Year award.

BDMs, loan administrators win trophies

The Better Business Awards recognised the vital support provided by BDMs and loan administrators to enable brokers to write loans for their clients with ease.

The Best Lender BDM (Bank) award was bestowed upon NAB BDM Ben San Martin, while Bluestone Home Loans' senior BDM Heidi Hayward walked away with the Best Lender BDM (Non-Bank) trophy.

Broker industry thanked for giving back

Several members of the broking industry were acknowledged for their ongoing efforts to propel the industry either through their mentorship, thought leadership, or other initiatives.
