In his opening address, Accountants Daily editor Jotham Lian said the awards played an important role in recognising the hard work and dedication shown by the profession in a trying year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The sheer tenacity and resilience shown by practitioners across the country over the past year has been nothing short of amazing and it makes me so proud to report and advocate on behalf of the profession each and every day,” Mr Lian said.

“Tonight, we celebrate the incredible work you’ve put in on behalf of the communities you serve day in and day out.”

Accountants Daily thanks principal partner Intuit QuickBooks; platinum partners CPA Australia and FAST Group; advisory partner Cerebiz; gold partners Accountancy Insurance, the Institute of Public Accountants, Jirsch Sutherland, ChangeGPS, Dext, and Act2; and event partners MindBridge Analytics and Finni for their invaluable support.
